Roast Books began very recently, in 2008. Our passion is unusual fiction, books full of personality, contemporary and surprising in content and form.

We have an ongoing collection of novellas called ‘GREAT LITTLE READS’. These are ideal to fit in your briefcase or handbag, and provide on the spot literary entertainment. These little novellas can be read and enjoyed in a matter of hours, making great travelling companions and gifts. Each Great Little Read has a List of Ingredients on the back, to help you make sure you pick something to your taste.

In 2009 we also published the unique ‘An A-Z of Possible Worlds by A.C. Tillyer, 26 short stories which interlink as part of a work, each story packaged as an individually bound booklet, in a box set, a limited edition signed by the author.  2010 releases include some neo chick lit with a vodka twist, and some brilliant flash fiction.

At Roast Books we join the battle of those independents who work to bring magic and originality back into the tough world of fiction publishing.
